Here I list all the possibilities of working at home that I know of. Eventually I intended to write a separate page that explains more deeply each and every possibility and supply the resources required to specialize in each one of them.
When I discuss Work at Home possibilities, I would like to divide these possibilities into 2 major groups - the first group is of work at home possibilities that do not require any selling or marketing and the other require some kind of marketing.
Work at home possibilities that do not require selling

Work at home jobs - These are practically normal jobs that do not require a particular working place and therefore the employer enables the employees to do at home. Work at home jobs are good for those who cannot or don't want to attend a working place for some reason but still prefer having a regular payment and don't wish to invest the time, money and energy required for managing a business as a business owner.
There are some websites that are specializing in connecting between companies who search for work at home employees and people who search for work at home, but some work at home jobs you can find nowadays anywhere at all job lists. Please be aware of data-entry jobs. These are not actual jobs, but affiliate marketing (of which I will explain later), there is nothing bad about doing that, but you should know that this is not a regular "job" in the sense we usually use the word.

Participation in Surveys - Finally, survey companies concluded that instead of paying someone to bother you on the phone or to get the phone slammed at his face (or ear), it is better to pay directly the participants at surveys. That makes a win-win situation for both you and the conductor of surveys. Generally after subscribing to the survey supplying website you will be presented with a long list of companies to which you can subscribe. The list will contain generally the name of the company, a link where you can subscribe and a description of the kind of surveys they conduct and what they will pay for your participation. These websites generally include some other kind of services in addition to the surveys, like being paid for receiving commercial e-mails, or for trying different products.
It is important to note that mostly these companies are interested in American and Canadian residents; there is much less offers for people from other countries, so if you're not American or Canadian don't count on this kind of work for your maintenance.
Another kind of "work" that sometimes is also available on survey websites and sometime is in separate offers requires clicking on banners or bars or some kind of commercials. I will not dedicate a page for this kind of "job" as long as I will not find a worthy program of this kind, what I saw up do date offers you some insignificant sum of money for a click. You will have to spend your days and nights clicking and then maybe you'll get $10 at the end of the month. Of course there are options for earnings by referring other people, but still, unless you have nothing to do in your life but clicking commercials (and unless you have a bunch of friends in a similar pitiable condition), I cannot recommend it. Somehow I believe your brain is capable of doing much better than that.

Stock market - Trading on the stock market can be a great source of income or a great loss of money. If you choose to do it don't be a gambler, otherwise you will have more chances to lose all your money instead of making a living. There is always some kind of gambling in stock market trading, but by studying the subject matter thoroughly (whether formally or informally) you can learn how to minimize the risks and maximize your income.

Home based business opportunities (require selling)
There are some things I would like to write you before listing the home based business opportunities. One thing is that selling is not a dirty word. If you try to think for a second what selling is - selling is giving someone something that he needs in exchange to something that you need and that he is ready to give you. I deeply believe (as written in the title of my website) that you should try to give people something worthy in exchange to their money.
Selling is not a synonym to cheating, selling can be cheating and can be honest, it depends on the seller's choice. Selling, especially on the internet, doesn't have to be pushing people either, you can choose how to sell - you can present your products and services and push people or you can present your product and service and show how they can be useful for the buyer. There is nothing wrong with selling in itself, but there may be something wrong with the way that some people choose to do it. You can always choose to do it your way.
Second thing is that you should understand that business, any business - online, offline, at home or out of home - involves selling something. It may be a service or a product, it can be a physical product or a virtual one or even knowledge or some expertise, but somehow your business (weather it will be you personally or someone else doing it for you) will have to sell something, so if you want to have a business but still think bad about selling, think again…

MLM or half way MLM - I guess most of the people know what Multi Level Marketing is, but there is some variety of MLM nowadays. Of course the old fashion MLM is still there, but the more modern way of doing it through the internet does not require any cold calling or warm calling. Generally the company will give you a standard website to promote both the products (for a selling income) and the business opportunity (for residual income). Online MLM includes not only physical products as it used to in the past, but also coaching, e-books, software, different services and other virtual products. You can also find different programs that offer different compensation plans.

Affiliate programs - Affiliate programs are programs in which a marketer promotes someone else's product for a commission.
This is a win-win situation for both seller and affiliate. The seller doesn't have to bother with getting buyers (because that is done by the affiliate), and the affiliate doesn't have to bother and create a product or deal with money transactions. The affiliate doesn't have to bother even with having his own website if he doesn't want to.
Data entry jobs are a way of being affiliate without having to have a website, although for some reason they're called "jobs" these are actually affiliate promotional work. Data entry jobs enable you generally to promote more easily different products using special programs that distribute your ads to different search engines all at once, or they may give you some kind of guidance about how to do it.

Marketing on EBay - eBay.com is one of the largest online marketplaces that enables trading on local, national and international levels. There are auctions and shopping websites in which people and businesses can buy and sell goods and services. In order to take part in trading on eBay, one should sell a product, but not necessarily a product of his own. Having a shop on eBay, allows the seller and buyer to use the eBay payment system which is safe.

Creating and marketing your own products - You can sell on the internet practically any product you can possibly make, whether that product is physical or virtual. You can promote the product yourself, but if you don't want you don't have to. Just as you can promote someone else's product as an affiliate so you too can pay commission to others for doing the promotional job for you.

As you can see I listed here 7 types of work at home possibilities that can expand to literally thousand of opportunities.
